Thurgood Marshall memorial with columns with Equal Justice and Under Law engraved at each side. Thurgood Marshall was the first African American to be appointed as a justice to the United States Supreme Court. He was also a Civil Rights Activist. The memorial is located in Lawyers Mall also know as State House Square, in Annapolis, Maryland.
