Christ In Majesty

Christ In Majesty dominates the north apse and the Great Upper Church at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington DC. At 3,610 square feet, it is quite possibly the largest mosaic of Jesus in the world. The mosaic is made of Venetian tinted glass and has 3,000 - 4,000 total shades of color. Below the heroic in size mosaic of Christ in Majesty are the Glorious Mysteries Chapels.
